Training Programs

All Family Favorite Canine programs are evaluation-based and designed around the dog, the household, and real-world expectations.

Enrollment is not determined by price or timeline, but by fit, goals, and long-term success.

Each Family Favorite Canine program is built around structure, clarity, and real-world reliability.

Rather than offering one-size-fits-all packages, enrollment begins with an evaluation to determine the most appropriate path forward for the dog and household.

Programs differ in scope and intensity, but all include structured training, owner education, and a comprehensive go-home session.

Foundation Obedience focuses on building calm, reliable on-leash behavior through structure, clarity, and consistency in both home and public environments.

  • Home and public environment training

  • Clear communication and handler focus

Real-World Obedience builds on foundational skills to develop reliable behavior on and off leash around real-life distractions.

Real-World Obedience

  • On- and off-leash obedience work

  • Public environment training with real distractions

  • Increased freedom with maintained structure

  • Clear expectations across settings

All Real-World Obedience programs include a mid-program owner training session and conclude with personal delivery of the dog and an in-home go-home training session.

Puppy Raise & Train

Puppy Raise & Train is a comprehensive program designed to give puppies a structured, intentional start during the most critical developmental period.

Puppies enter training at approximately 8 weeks of age and live with the trainer throughout the program, allowing for consistent structure, exposure, and habit formation from day one.

  • Foundation obedience and engagement

  • Potty training and crate conditioning

  • Structured exposure to real-world environments

  • Daily routines built around clarity and neutrality

  • Progressive public obedience development

The program includes a mid-program owner training session, followed by personal delivery of the puppy to the owner’s home and an extensive go-home education session.
